Higher Hangers Review:

Let’s face it, we all could use a little more space in our RVs, especially in the closets.  I can’t remember how I found Higher Hangers, but I thought I’d give them a try, and here is my review.  For the before and after pictures, I put the clothes in the exact same order to keep the visual as identical as possible.

They are a clever design.  As seen in the pics, the area where the neck hole is has been lowered.  I was worried that this might affect some of our clothes, so I only ordered 50 hangers at first, even though we needed 100.  The design works great, it does not change how we hang our clothes, from a hanger functionality point of view, in any way.  The design of the hanger raises all of the clothes, giving you about 3″ more space underneath.  The hangers are also covered in velvet. This provides grip for Brandy’s clothes that, shall we say, are a bit skimpy.  The velvet grips very well, almost too well, but once you get used to it, it’s a non issue.  It’s most noticeable when you are hanging clothes, as getting the hanger into the perfect position takes just a few more seconds than normal.  Here is a before and after pic:

Notice the extra room underneath the clothes in the picture. I did my best to take the pics from the exact same position. The hangers are also a bit thinner than the Walmart plastic hangers we replaced.  While it’s a minimal difference, it is definitely noticeable, and looks a lot less cluttered.  Another big difference for us, was over the washer/dryer combo.  When I installed the w/d, I raised the existing hanger rod as high as I could.  Although you can hang clothes above the w/d, the bottom few inches would rest on it.  While not a problem really, it looks a lot cleaner now, and eliminating the cluttered look is a big deal to us.  We will definitely be ordering the additional 50 hangers.  On a side note, please don’t judge us on our clothes, it’s been a few years since we have gone through them to clean out the closet.  If you have any questions, just leave a comment below and I’ll respond asap.
