Water Pressure Regulators

Water Pressure Regulators

There are a lot of things that can cause damage in an RV, and water is right at the top of that list. Sometimes parts just fail, and other times there may have been something you can do about it. The acceptable pressure for you exterior water hookup varies with your RV, so find out what your maximum system pressure is. For us, a 2011 Keystone Alpine, it is 50-80 psi max, depending on which source of literature I use….

Perfect Bedroom Fan

Perfect Bedroom Fan

If you’re like me, you need a little noise and a small breeze to fall asleep and to have a great night’s sleep. In our sticks and bricks house, I ran the ceiling fan in the bedroom and used a little $4 Walmart fan on my nightstand, which served more as a noise maker than an air mover. I had to figure what would work best in the RV’s bedroom. Since space is a premium, I wanted something that was…

Composting Toilet – Lessons Learned

Composting Toilet – Lessons Learned

We are coming up on one year of full timing and owning and using the Nature’s Head Composting toilet. Several things have been learned so I thought I would do another write up. I will start by saying we still love it. It’s not for everybody, but it works very well for the two of us. Must Have RV Gadgets 2021

We own every item listed below, except for the chairs now, because someone needed them more than we did, I guess.  We love all the items below, there are many other items we own that didn’t make the cut, and I will do a write-up on those as well. All items are linked to Amazon so you can get a full description and view user ratings and reviews.

Washer/Dryer

Washer/Dryer

Being full timers in our RV, we really wanted to have a washer/dryer installed.  Laundromats are fine, but for us, it makes it feel more like home when you can hear/see the machine running.  I’m not sure why that makes a big difference, but it does. We went with the Splendide 2100XC.  We debated on a stackable unit, but decided on the combo washer/dryer.  The stackable’s advantage is that you can wash and dry at the same time, roughly cutting…
